Tremonti Romagnoli Piccardi e Associati successfully defended the national producers of grain and pasta made from Italian grain, along with a consumers association, before the Regional Administrative Court of Lazio. The request – made by several millers and pasta makers –  which was for the suspension of the Decree of the Mipaaf (Ministry for Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies) and the Mise (Ministry for Economic Development), that makes it compulsory to specify the origin of grain used in production, was rejected.

The national grain producers and the pasta makers who use the products of the former, defended by the Firm, specifically by Giuseppe Pizzonia, together with fellow lawyers from the Studio Santa Maria, Alberto Santa Maria, Antonio Papi Rossi, Edoardo Gambaro and Francesco Mazzocchi, aligned with the Attorney General’s Office in their defense of a measure of considerable importance for the protection of consumer information on the origin of foods and their ingredients.
