Firm participates in workshop “ART & COLLECTIBLES NEI PATRIMONI FAMILIARI: VALORIZZAZIONE, ASPETTI LEGALI E FISCALI”
On 14 November 2017, Tremonti Romagnoli Piccardi e Associati participated in the workshop “ART & COLLECTIBLES NEI PATRIMONI FAMILIARI: VALORIZZAZIONE, ASPETTI LEGALI E FISCALI” (Art & collectibles as family wealth and assets: appreciation, legal and tax aspects) organised by AIFO – Associazione Italiana Family Officer. The Firm was represented by partners Cristiano Caumont Caimi and Laura Gualtieri, who both spoke about the tax aspects of the art and collectibles market, with a special focus on the recent proposals for regulatory changes in the taxation of capital gains made by operators in this sector.
An overview of the art and collectibles market was provided by Filippo Lotti – Managing Director of Sothebys – and Federico Göttsche Bebert – Hero the Historic Endurance Rallying Organisation – while the legal aspects were handled by Giuseppe Calabi – partner of CBM & Partners law firm.
