The Firm advises on GE-Baker Hughes transaction
The Firm advised General Electric on the fiscal aspects of the transaction concluded in order to combine its Oil & Gas – Nuovo Pignone division with Baker Hughes, which led to the creation of the new entity “Baker Hughes, a GE Company”.
The Firm’s team was composed of partners Lorenzo Piccardi and Cristiano Caumont Caimi, and associate Giulio Tombesi.
Shearman & Sterling advised General Electric on the legal aspects of the transaction.
