The European International Tax Awards 2016 gala awards ceremony was held last Thursday 26^th May in the Savoy Hotel, London. During the ceremony, the prestigious International Tax Review named the firm as the winner of the Italian Tax Law Firm of the Year 2016 award. The award was accepted by Cristiano Garbarini on behalf of the firm, who said “the firm is very proud to receive this award, which recognises a year that has been particularly rich in complex transactions, which we have participated in on the front line”.

Now in its eleventh year, the event is unanimously acknowledged by the market as being one of the most important in the international tax sector. Every year it awards and recognizes tax and transfer pricing firms from 27 jurisdictions that have distinguished themselves on the ‘size, innovation, impact’ of their best projects, judged in accordance with criteria and methodology applied by the International Tax Review.

The Italian Tax Law Firm of the Year 2016 is just the latest in a series of awards, which for many consecutive years, have recognised the firm as the best Italian legal firm in the most prestigious international legal directories, such as: Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, The Legal 500, International Tax Review – World Tax, and Legal Experts Europe, Middle East and Africa. These international awards are complemented by  several equally prestigious Italian awards won by the firm.
